Cannot recommend this place highly enough. We had a fantastic holiday and such an amazing space for the whole family to be together and our dog had a fantastic time.

Cancelled our holiday- which was booked since the last time we stayed last year- 3 weeks before we were supposed to go again. No reason for cancellation, and now the barn is back up as available for the dates we booked! Is a lovely place but if they had an issue with us they had an entire year to tell us they wanted to cancel. It’s unprofessional leaving it this late. Again we now have 3 weeks to find another place for our holiday 😡

This is our second visit to the barn and definitely not our last. This place is 5 star luxury and if you are looking to unwind this is the place for you. Graeme and Stephanie can't do enough for you and very welcoming. Plenty to do in the area and all amenities are just down the road. If i could give 6 stars I would.

This place is out of this world. Very clean and well stocked with kitchen equipment you could hold a full on party. Place is so quiet and peaceful apart from the highly opinionated bull in the field next door lol but very funny. Would well recommend this lodge to anyone for a lovely get away.

Absolutely stunning converted barn, beautiful views and very peaceful. Lovely places nearby to drive to and some excellent country pubs. Highly recommended.

A wonderful place to spend a holiday, with one of the best outlooks you could hope for. If light and space defines a luxurious experience, then the Barn delivers in spades. The experience is dominated by the view across the wear valley, being able to see Tow Law and the West Durham wind farm in the distance. This may be a peripheral if the accommodation was less enticing, but it is superbly comfortable - modern clean and cosy. Graeme and Stephanie are friendly and helpful; as you are surrounded by a working farm there is always something happening. One of our (new) favourite places.
